Make office 2003 file format as default on Word 2007


After making a simple mistake but keep the headaches, i decided to make my MS Word 2007 application save in the MS Word 2003 format by default.

Why am i doing this ? the answer is simply because i still use MS Office 2003 in the  office, so i need to do this before i got the error as before.

How do i do that ?? this is what i do with MS Word.

How to Open Office 2007 File Format with Office 2003

Yeah.. i know what do you thinking about the title, straight to the target, right !. This story begun when i create a word file at home, but it can’t open at my office. I forgot use a different version of Office, i use MS office 2007 at home and MS office 2003 in my office. so.. how to open this file ?? Tears

When Microsoft release Microsoft Office 2007, they changed the default extensions for the office suite. Standard extensions (docx, xlsx, pptx) in Office 2007 cannot read with office 2003 or lower. So.. you need to install Microsoft Office Compability pack for office 2007 file format on your computer, then you can open docx file in word 2003.
